Skipper Shoaib Malik statement after losing two consecutive ODIs from Australia is shocking

*ISLAMABAD – Former cricketer-turned-commentator Ramiz Raja has beenshocked over series captain Shoaib Malik’s statement that winning or losing‘doesn’t make any difference’.“I couldn’t believe it, because if we don’tcare about the result, then why are we playing the series at the firstplace. And if we don’t tell our youngsters that their fifty and hundred ismeaningless, if it doesn’t contribute in the team’s success then how willwe create new champions,” questioned Raja, at Ramiz Speaks.During the postmatch presentation, Malik said that the series is all about testing thebench strength. “It’s not about winning the series, it’s about testing ourbench strength,” said Pakistan captain for the series, Malik.Raja, however, praised wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan for hitting his maiden ODIcentury against Australia last night and said Rizwan is a good team playerand could serve Pakistan well in the future. With the five-ODI series 2-0 infavour of Australia, Pakistan would need to win the third ODI at Abu Dhabion March 27, to remain alive in the series.
