ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr Mahathir Mohamad has emphasizedthe need for promoting people-to-people contacts and encouraging tourismbetween Pakistan and Malaysia to further bolster friendship and knowledgebetween the two countries.
In an interview with PTV, he said both the countries have greater trade andinvestment potential and it is required to identify the factors to improvethe trade relations in areas where the investment can be made.
He said Pakistan has successfully eliminated the menace of terrorism andnow heading towards stability. He said peace and stability within thecountry is absolutely essential for promotion of tourism and attractinginvestment.
