ISLMABAD – Paris-based human rights organization, International Federationfor Human Rights, an amalgam of 184 organisations from 112 countries hadslammed India over Occupied Kashmir human rights violations.
It in a briefing note maintained that since 1990, more than 70,000 peoplehave been killed, more than 8,000 subjected to enforced disappearances andthousands arrested and detained under repressive laws by Indian forces inoccupied Kashmir.
It also called for establishing a Commission of Inquiry to investigate allincidents of human rights violations perpetrated by Indian troops in theoccupied territory, as recommended in the report by the Office of the UNHigh Commissioner for Human Rights.
