CPEC western route: PTI government takes important step

ISLAMABAD: Central Development Working Party has approved the project ofQuetta-Zhob section of Western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridorproject.

Its meeting was held in Islamabad on Thursday with Planning MinisterMakhdoom Khusro Bakhtyar in the chair.

Addressing the meeting, the Minister said government is giving priority toconstruction of western route and is committed to socio politicaldevelopment of deprived areas.

The meeting also approved two projects worth 910 million rupees and sentthree projects worth 960 million rupees to ECNEC for final approval.
