ISLAMABAD – A delegation of China’s Ministry of Commerce visited StrategicExport Control Division at Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.
Experts of Strategic Export Controls from the two sides shared their viewsand best practices.
They informed each other about the latest developments in respectivestrategic export control system, inter-agency coordination mechanism,licensing processes of dual use items, and capacity building of enforcementagencies.
The Chinese delegation acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and appreciated theprogress on harmonization of its strategic export control policies andpractices with international standards.
Such interactions are part of Pakistan’s consistent effort to engage withthe international community to mutually benefit from the best practices.
