RAWALPINDI – Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment ofWomen at Workplace, Kashmala Tariq expressed on Tuesday that sending goodmorning messages to women falls within the ambit of harassment.
Addressing the audience at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, Tariqelaborated that extending offers for tea meetups repeatedly to women alsoequates harassment.
‘Harassment can be of any kind besides sexual,’ the official observed.
Kashmala Tariq opined that her office also received complaints aboutattendants harassing fellow workers adding that the victims can lodge theircomplaints online as well.
