NEW DELHI – UAE Crown Prince played important role in avoiding Indo Pakclash, Media Report has surfaced.
United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s envoy to India Ahmed Albanna on monday saidthat his country played an important role in reducing tension between thetwo countries.
In response to a question he said, “We did not mediate. When we talk aboutmediation, it has to be request from both parties and then after that. Wetried to decrease the tension by that special relationship”
Adding,”We have played an important role in reducing tension. On a day of abig escalation, our Crown Prince spoke to PM Modi and PM Imran Khan. Ourrole was to give word of wisdom & trying to sort out differences in apeaceful manner. UAE played an important role”

On the issue of cross border terror, the envoy said, “Without mentioningany specific person, name or country UAE has a long-standing stance ofpreventing, flighting act of terrorism and countering radicalorganisations, so we work with all partners, with many different countries,with all the countries in the region to make our region peaceful where wecan live together and coexist”.
