*RAWALPINDI: Media wing of armed forces, the Inter Services PublicRelations (ISPR) on Sunday demanded from Business Recorder newspaper toextend apology for publishing false news of meeting between the Army Chiefand former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed.*
Sources said the ISPR has taken notice of the news about meeting betweenthe two. It has termed the news as faux.
The media wing of armed forces has warned of legal action in case of notapologizing, said the sources.
They said the report about Director General ISPR Major General AsifGhafoor’s ‘political meetings’ abroad was also false.
“False news are deliberately being spread,” said the sources.
