Mohammad Amir reacts over his exclusion from World Cup squad

ISLAMABAD – Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has reacted over his exclusion fromWorld Cup squad.

His poor form has ruled him out of Pakistan’s preliminary World Cup squad.He paved the way for the 18-year-old paceman Mohammad Hasnain.

However, Amir has been given one last chance to prove his form, and thus hewill travel with the team to feature in the five-match ODI series againstEngland starting in May.

While many of his supporters say that he’s an integral part of the WCsquad, others put statistics above the favoritism, supporting the selectionteam’s decision.

Others believe his selection for the England series is a chance for thetalented left-arm quick to prove his worth, just like he always did in thepast.

Amir’s first reaction to the team management’s selection was no different.He showed no regret; instead, he was grateful to be given a chance forEngland series.

The 27-year-old bowler supported the Pakistan Cricket team and wished themluck for the mega event.
