KABUL – Afghan government has announced a list of two hundred and fiftypeople, including around fifty women, for talks with the Taliban in Qatarthis week.
The list includes representatives of political parties, governmentofficials, opposition figures, former fighters, women’s rights activists,war victims’ families, Muslim leaders, youth and media groups, as well astribal elders and members of Afghanistan’s High Peace Council.
The meeting known as “intra-Afghan” dialogue is expected to last for twodays, starting on Saturday.
