ISLAMABAD – The administration of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) hasissued a show cause notice to the flight attendant who went missing inParis last week.
A spokesperson of the national airline said that the department served thenotice to the air hostess after she disappeared from work without notifyinghigher officials.
The national flag carrier intends to take further action against theemployee in case of continued disappearance.
It should be mentioned here that last week, a PIA air hostess identified asShazia went missing from her hotel in Paris. She had traveled to Francewith PIA’s flight PK-734 from Lahore last Tuesday. The airline’s StationManager has lodged a case of her missing in Paris.
While PIA’s version tells a whole other story, sources familiar with thematter say that she had left her resignation letter in her hotel room – PIAdenies any such reports.
“The authorities have launched an investigation into the matter,” thespokesperson continued.
