World War 2 era US bomb detonated

ISLAMABAD – In Germany, a World War Two-era United States bomb wasdetonated in a river in Frankfurt, today.

Some 600 people were evacuated from parts of the city as bomb disposalexperts got to work.

According to the local media, the bomb was discovered on Tuesday inFrankfurt’s River Main.
