TEHRAN – Iran has warned of consequences of U.S. policy on RevolutionaryGuards designing them as a terrorist organization.
Talking to state news agency IRNA, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad JavadZarif has said he will send letters to the foreign ministers of allcountries to notify them that the U.S. designation of the RevolutionaryGuards as a terrorist organization will have consequences.
Zarif said he has also sent letters to United Nations Secretary-GeneralAntonio Guterres and the United Nations Security Council to protest againstthis illegal U.S. measure.
