ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Youth Affairs Program (PMYA) has planned tolaunch “Skills Development project”for youth with technical education.
According to an official, 150,000 prospective trainees were planned toreceive technical and vocational training in demand driven trades over aperiod of next two years.
He said 50 percent of these trainings will focus on high–end labor sectors.
He said 50 percent of vocational trainings would be focused in lessprivileged areas like Balochistan and FATA.
He said 75 percent of employment opportunities would be ensured throughoffering jobs after training.
“There was dire need of imparting productive skills and developingentrepreneurship culture especially for youth through Skills Developmentand Startup Pakistan initiatives”, he said.
“This project would encourage youth to become part of technical education”,official said.
