ISLAMABAD – The PTI-led Federal Government is planning to launch OverseasPakistanis Youth Council (OPYC) under the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation,the Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
According to official sources, the purpose of this initiative is to engagewith the young Pakistanis settled abroad and familiarize them with theirculture and heritage.
The selected members of the Youth Council will get an insight into themaking of Naya Pakistan and gain substantial knowledge of varied aspects oflife in the country.

Initially 20 students from United Kingdom (UK), Europe, and America will beselected as members of the the Youth Council for a period of one year. Theywill visit Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar for one week.
