*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday lauded the results ofan auction for plots by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), termingthat biggest plots’ auction has resulted in the highest ever return of11.28 billion rupees.*
The prime minister took to his Twitter and said that CDA’s biggest plots’auction results in highest ever return for CDA that is Rs 11.28 billion.The premier said that this return highlights two important facts.
“One, it is a vote of confidence in future of Pakistan’s economy; two, itreveals how much money has been lost in the past because ofnon-transparent, corrupt practices,” the PM mentioned.

CDA organized auction of residential and commercial plots in Islamabad from8th to 11th of this month.

It is pertinent to mention here that this week, the CDA held a four dayauction of residential and commercial plots. In the first two days, the CDAauctioned 31 residential plots in developed sectors.
In the last two days 23 out of 38 commercial plots put on bid were alsosold. From this auction, the CDA has earned Rs 11.28 billion, which iscalled the most profitable in CDA’s history.
