ISLAMABAD – The government has released Rs6362.281million forCommunications Division out of Rs13977.204 million allocated under thePublic Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for its other than NationalHighway Authority (NHA). For NHA an allocation of Rs185197 million havebeen allocated.An official source told APP Monday that for Green Line Bus Rapid TransportSystem in Karachi, Rs8792 million have been earmarked out of which Rs3517million have been issued. As far as Karachi Package was concerned, out ofthe total allocation of Rs5000 million, Rs2743 million have been releasedfor the project.He said that for National Transport Research Centre, axle load suretyproject, Rs22.64 million have been earmarked for out of which Rs18.834million have been released.It is worth mentioning here that for NHA a separate allocation of Rs185,197million has been made in PPDP out of which Rs75,579 million have beenreleased till date.
