NAB team lays siege around former CM Shahbaz Sharif s home

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team lays siege aroundformer CM Shahbaz Sharif’s home to arrest his son Hamza Shahbaz.

NAB on Saturday once again reached Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)President Shehbaz Sharif’s residence and cordoned it off in an attempt toarrest Hamza Shehbaz.

Contingents of police, Rangers and anti-riot force have surroundedShehbaz’s 96-H Model Town residence, 24 hours after NAB first raided thePML-N president’s family residence to arrest Hamza. Police has beenstationed outside the main gate of the house and contingents of femalepolice officers are also present.

A large number of PML-N workers also reached the residence and clashed withpolice as they attempted to reach the gate of the house.

Additional Director NAB Chaudhry Asghar while speaking to PML-N lawyer AttaTarrar outside the Shehbaz family residence said, “We are here to arrestHamza and should be allowed to go inside the house.”

“We have Hamza’s arrest warrant,” the NAB additional director said.

Later speaking to the media, the NAB additional director said, “We are notbeing allowed inside the residence to arrest Hamza and no one iscooperating with us.”
