ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court gives decision over Asif Zardari bail pleain Fake Bank Accounts case.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari has filed another plea in Islamabad HighCourt (IHC) seeking pre-arrest bail in Fake Bank Accounts case.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday granted interim bail to formerpresident Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in two of theongoing inquiries, including Opal 225 and Park Lane, against them till June12.
On the other hand, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Zardari hasfiled a pre-arrest bail application in the IHC, seeking its directives forbarring the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting him in anongoing investigation into Haresh and Company case.
The petition states that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summonedAsif Zardari on Thursday for probe in a company case where his arrest maytake place, hence, the court may accept the tabled plea in order to bar NABfrom making the arrest.
Reiterating the stance on the accountability wave, it has claimed thatformer president is being targetted intentionally on the basis of politicalrevenge.
Details of NAB inquiries are mentioned in the plea where Chairman NAB andDeputy Director have been made parties.
