ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday appointed Sayed ZulfikarAbbas Bukhari as Chairman of Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation(PTDC), ARY News reported.
The Federal Cabinet accorded approval for the appointment.
According to the notification issued here, Special Assistant to PrimeMinister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, SayedZulfikar Abbas Bukhari has been appointed as PTDC chairman.
“Transparency in PTDC, making Pakistan an International brand and strongcoordination with provinces will be my top priority,” Zulfikar Bukhari saidin a statement issued by his ministry soon after the ratification of theappointment proposal.

He said he was determined to bring positive changes in tourism industrythrough sustained reforms. The revamping of PTDC was in process to make itmore effective and productive organization, he added.
