ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday submittedreports and inquiries against the former president Asif Ali Zardari in theIslamabad High Court.
According to details, deputy prosecutor of NAB Sardar Muzaffar Abbasisubmitted investigation and inquiries report against the former presidentand Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Zardari in a casepertaining to the Fake Bank Accounts Scandal.
According to the report, the inquiries were initiated on the directives ofthe SC. Asif Zardari’s alleged connection was found in three inquiries andfive investigations of the NAB. However, the anti-graft watchdog has issuedan arrest warrant of the former president in one reference of Park LaneCompany Scandal.
The report also revealed that the NAB is identifying the role of the formerpresident in eight references of the Fake Bank Accounts.

On the other hands, Asif Zardari is under investigation in 22 inquiries andthree investigations. Three references have also been filed against theformer president.
