RAWALPINDI – Ambassador of Tajikistanlink IsmatulloNasredin Monday said the schedulelink CentralAsia-South Asia link (CASA1,000) power project was likely to be fully operational by 2020link.
He expressed these views during his visitlink to the RawalpindilinkChamber link Of Commercelink and Industrylink (RCCI) here.
The envoy said Pakistan link was facingenergy shortage link and Tajikistan link wasset to supply inexpensive electricitylink to Pakistanlink in order tocongregate its potential energy needs,adding electricitylink would besupplied to Pakistanlink under CASA-1,000MW energy project.
He said Tajikistanlink attached greatimportance to relations with Pakistanlink and there was ahuge potential to transform very cordial political cooperation intoeconomic and trade ties.

The Ambassador said that his country was ready to assist Pakistanlink and provide itwith all link the necessarysupport for the development of bilateral economic and trade relations indifferent areas including hydropower, mining, pharmaceuticals, tourism,light industry link,agriculture link andconstruction.
