*KARACHI: The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation on Saturday inductedone new oil tanker ship in its oil tanker fleet.*
The new oil tanker Khairpur ship, which has been bought from the UnitedKingdom, has arrived at the Karachi port oil terminal.
The oil tanker ship has brought oil from the United Arab Emirates.
This has risen the number of PNSC oil tanker ships to six.
On March 26, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Zaidi had announcedinduction of new vessel in fleet of the Pakistan National ShippingCorporation.

In a tweet, the minister had said:” It gives me great pleasure to informthe Pakistani nation that PNSC has added to its fleet a MoGas Carrier LR-1vessel on March 25, 2019.
The ship named Bolan will help reduce the dependency on foreign vessels &save millions of $’s in freight. Another step towards self reliance!”
