According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the Indian forces shot dead aKashmiri young man in Shopian district of occupied Kashmir today.
The incident took place during a cordon and search operation in Amishporaarea of the district.
As India is currently undergoing its general elections, Chairman ofTehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has said thatthe rejection of Indian parliamentary election drama by more than 90 percent Kashmiris gave a stern message to the Indian government and theinternational community that they are only interested in the finalsettlement of the Kashmir dispute, KMS reported.
