Islamabad High Court today adjourned the hearing of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s appeal against his sentence in the Al Azizia Steel Mills reference till June 19.
A division bench comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani adjourned the proceedings due to non-completion of the paper books.
Nawaz Sharif was represented by his counsel Khawaja Haris as the former Prime Minister is imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat jail. National Accountability Bureau’s prosecutor Jhanzeb Bharwana appeared before the court.
At the outset of the hearing Justice Farooq said that court record should be completed before the start of regular hearing on the petition.

On this the defense counsel Khawaj Aharis said that paper books will be completed during the month of Ramzan.
