MIRPUR (AJK): Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice M. Tabassam Aftab Alvi Monday suspended Kh. Saeed Bashir Butt judge of the AJK Accountability Court No.1 for being absent from duty, it was officially said.
Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir High Court Justice M. Tabassam Aftab Alvi found the judge absent from duty during an inspection of the lower courts in the State’s capital town on Monday, an official handed out issued said.
During the inspection of the court the AJK High Court Chief Justice found the judge Kh. Saeed Bashir Butt of the AJK
Accountability Court No.1 absent from duty without intimation. Justice Ali ordered immediate suspension of the judge from service.
The AJK HC Chief Justice Tabassam Aftab Alvi also ordered suspension of Yasir Abbas Naqvi senior clerk and Waqas Gillani junior clerk of the court for not wearing uniforms and smoking during duty hours.
He also directed the officials concerned to ensure cleanliness in the court buildings.
The CJ issued directive to ensure subject of case in cause list, case nature, case no. registering the proceeding, and displaying the cause list at a prominent place, the handout added.
