ISLAMABAD – The exchange rate of dollar in interbank decreased by threepaisa and was traded at Rs141.28 as compared to the last closing atRs141.31, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Monday reported.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates ofdollar in open market were recorded at Rs141 and Rs 141.50.
The SBP reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by 48 paisaafter which it was traded at Rs158.12 as compared to the last closing atRs157.64.
The price of Japanese yen jumped by one paisa after which it was traded atRs1.27 against Rs1.26, whereas the increase of Rs1.48 was witnessed inexchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs185.23 againstRs183.75.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal decreased by one paisa eachand were traded at Rs38.46 and Rs37.67 respectively.
