ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari onMonday taunted that head office of International Monetary Fund (IMF) wasbeing shifted to Pakistan.
He made these remarks during interaction with media personnel here in thefederal capital today.
On question about chairman of Public Accounts Committee, Zardari repliedthat Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had not approached him forconsultation on the matter. However, he added that PML-N would haveconsulted Khursheed Shah.
Zardari stated that PPP will hold a meeting on whether supporting RanaTanvir’s candidature for the post of PAC chairman.
“We can’t run country in a manner when representatives of IMF have accessto financial books of Pakistan”, warned the former president of Pakistan.
