Chinese nationals sex trafficking gang busted in Lahore, startling revelations surface

LAHORE – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday busted a racketof Chinese nationals involved in trafficking Pakistani girls to China onthe false pretext of marriage.

Deputy Director FIA Jamil Ahmad Khan Mayo said the authorities, as part ofa crackdown against foreigners involved in illegal activities in thecountry, arrested eight Chinese nationals from Lahore airport and otherareas on the charges of trafficking young women to China after marryingthem.

The suspects, with the assistance of Pakistani agents, contracted marriageswith unsuspecting local girls and then trafficked them to China where thevictims were forced into prostitution.

The accused include a Chinese woman as well.
