ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the authoritiesconcerned to ensure provision of essential commodities at fixed ratesduring Ramazan.
Chairing a meeting about Ramazan Package 2019 in Islamabad today, he saidthe administration officers must ensure their presence in the field andtake immediate action against profiteers and hoarders.
The Prime Minister said Control Rooms should be set up at provincial levelto monitor provision of essential commodities, electricity, gas and waterduring Ramazan so that administrative control could be made effective.
He said the concerned ministries and departments have been directed toensure supply of gas, electricity and water in Sehar and Iftar timingsbesides maintaining peace during Ramazan.
