LAHORE: Master Beverages and Foods Limited has brought a lawsuit againstcricketer Shahid Afridi as Afridi had signed a contract with MasterBeverages as their brand ambassador, but also secretly signed an agreementto become a brand ambassador of another renowned beverage company.
Master Beverages and Foods claims that according to the agreement, the starcricketer cannot sign any other company and has instituted a lawsuitagainst the cricketer in Sindh High Court (SHC) for damages amounting toRs60,000,000 and recovery of a car.
The court summoned Afridi on May 28 to answer questions related to thesuit. The cricketer can also send a person on his behalf who can answer allsuch questions.
