Bilawal Bhutto clarifies remarks against PM Khan over Khan Sahab samjhti hain

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari onSaturday said that he unintentionally said ‘Khan sahab samjhti hain’ in hisreaction to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s criticism on him.

The PPP leader said that he issued the unmeant statement because of hislack of command over Urdu.

In his earlier press conference, Bilawal Prime Minister Imran Khan is “onlyinsulting himself” when he passes comments such as ‘sahiba’.

Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House, Bilawal said,“Referring to a man as a woman does not harm the man but what sort ofmessage does this send to the women of Pakistan? That our prime minister issaying that being a women is an insult?”

“This is Pakistan and here women stand shoulder to shoulder with men. Ifthere was no Fatima Jinnah would Pakistan be formed? If there was no FatimaJinnah who would oppose Ayub?” Bilawal asked.

We were the first Muslim country to elect a women prime minister, the PPPchairman continued. “We are proud of the women of this country. We thinkthey should be given space in politics, economy and society,” he added.
