Pakistan takes a bold stance over Occupied Kashmir at the OIC makkah summit 2019

ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistanwants normalization of its relationship with India.

Talking to media in Multan on Sunday, he said there is progress in liftingthe air restriction on flights between both of countries.

He said Pakistan and Gulf countries are enjoying the best relationship.

He said that Pakistan highlighted the issues related to Afghan Refugees,situation in Afghanistan and Palestine in OIC meeting.

He said resolution of Palestine dispute is very necessary for durable peacein Middle East.

He said that Pakistan also highlighted the Kashmir dispute in theconference and principled support for the legitimate right toself-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with UNresolutions. The Kashmir dispute in the conference and said that

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan called for expedited establishment of aUN Commission of Inquiry to investigate the grave human rights violationsand urged India to allow the Commission and other internationalorganizations access to IOK.

The Foreign Minister said the Conference agreed to adoption of acomprehensive strategy to combat Islamophobia, building on proposals madeby Pakistan. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan articulated Pakistan’s viewson the situation in Indian Held Kashmir, Palestine, Islamophobia and theneed for science, technology and innovation for Muslim countries.
