SAHIWAL – In a hapless incident in Sahiwal on Sunday, eight infants diedin Sahiwal’s District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) after air conditionerhalted functioning amid extreme weather conditions.
The relatives of the deceased staged protest and blocked Sahiwal-Lahoreroad.
On the other hand, a spokesperson for Punjab Health Ministry stated that acommittee had been constituted to investigate the incident.
The spokesperson added that committed has been instructed to present itsreport at earliest after a thorough probe into the matter.
