ISLAMABAD – In a first, the Ministry of Human Rights of Pakistan hasappointed a transgender person.
Ayesha Moghul will be working in the Ministry of Human Rights as a resourceperson.
Human Rights Minister Dr Shireen Mazari shared the details of appointmenton her Twitter account:
“Welcome our first transgender Ayesha Moghul who is going to work in MOHRas a resource person,” she wrote.
