Curfew in Occupied Kashmir after martyrdom of freedom fighter Zakir Musa

SEINAGAR – Indian occupation forces imposed a curfew and other restrictionsin parts of Kashmir to stop protests against the martyrdom of freedomfighter Zakir Musa.

The Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported that the curfew was imposed inSrinagar, Kulgam and Pulwama.

The authorities also continued to keep the educational institutes, mobile,internet and train services closed across the Kashmir valley.

Indian troops and police personnel have been deployed in all major citiesand towns of the valley to stop people from holding demonstrations, KMSadded.

Meanwhile, normal life remains affected due to the shutdown against thekilling of Zakir Musa, and a civilian.

As per KMS, most of the shops, fuel stations and other businessestablishments remained closed in the Kashmir valley, while transport isoff the road due to the strike.

Zakir Musa along with an associate was martyred in a clash with Indiantroops in Dadsara Tral area of Pulwama district on Thursday.

The civilian, Zahoor Ahmad of Naira area of Pulwama district, was abductedand killed by Indian armed agents on the same day.
