Pakistan to play first warm up match on Friday for ICC World Cup

BRISTOL – Pakistan will face Afghanistan in their first warm-up match onFriday ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019.

Fast bowler Wahab Riaz has joined the team in Bristol. Head Coach MickeyArthur said Pakistan’s batting improved despite losing the series againstEngland. He stressed that special attention is being given to fielding andbowling.

The match will start at 02:30 PM (PST). The Green Shirts will play theirsecond warm-up game against Bangladesh on May 26.

The ICC World Cup 2019 will begin on May 30, and Pakistan will play theirfirst match against West Indies on May 31 in Nottingham.
