ISLAMABAD – Balochistan Minister for Irrigation Tariq Magsi has said thatas many as 300 small dams will be built at every 10-15 km of the distancein the province.
In an interview with Radio Pakistan, he said the World Bank has allocatedfunds for Water Resource Management comprising irrigation, flood protectionand drinking water schemes.
He said the incumbent government in collaboration with Asian DevelopmentBank has given approval to the Water Resource Development Projects in theprovince.

The provincial minister said under the project, five schemes on Zhob basinand five sub schemes on Mulla basin will be constructed in addition tosetting up two fruit processing plants.
