*ISLAMABAD – A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hearformer prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s, who is serving seven-year term in KotLakhpat jail in the Al-Azizia reference, plea for bail on medical groundson Tuesday.*
The bench comprises Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayaniwill hear the petition.
In the petition, it has been stated that Nawaz Sharif is suffering frommultiple diseases which could jeopardize his health.
The tests conducted during his six-week bail are also showing his diseaselife-threatening, it states. “Nawaz Sharif is suffering from heart arteriesailment. He should be treated by the doctors who had already treated himabroad,” it added.
