NEW DELHI – Mahatma Gandhi was “Father of Pakistan” and not India, Top BJPleader has stirred a new controversy in India.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday suspended party spokespersonAnil Saumitra over his controversial social media post calling MahatmaGandhi the father of Pakistan. He was suspended from the primary membershipof the party.
Taking to a Facebook post, Saumitra had said that Gandhi is the father ofPakistan. He also said that crores of people were born in India likeGandhi, though some were useful and others useless.
