Pakistan economy to stabilise after IMF programme

ISLAMABAD – Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and EconomicAffairs Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said country’s economy would be improvedafter implementation of IMF program.

This he said while talking to business community at governor house inKarachi on Thursday.

Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Syed Shabbar Zaidi and Governor SindhImran Ismail were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Chairman FBR said that Amnesty Schemes has fullysupported by all business community and they have declared it to be theinterest of country’s economy.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said that incumbent government wanted toaddress the problems of trade community and Sind Industrial LiaisonCommittee has been formed in this regard.
