ISLAMABAD – Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawoodhas said the government would shift the country’s economy from aconsumption driven one to an investment driven one.
Talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and IndustryPresidents Convention in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the country has todiversify exports.
The advisor said the government’s main objective is to promoteindustrialization in the country.
Abdul Razak Dawood assured the delegation that the government would extendits full cooperation and support for strengthening local industry asindigenous growth was very essential for a strong economy.
