KABUL – In Afghanistan, twenty-seven people including government troops andofficials were killed in attacks by Taliban in Kandahar and Farah provinces.

According to police chief of Kandahar, eight election workers and elevenAfghan security personnel were killed alongside the four suicide bombers inKandahar province.

In a separate attack, Taliban killed eight Afghan soldiers at a militarycheckpoint in Balabulak district in Farah province.
