BEIJING: *Pakistan responds over trade agreement between China and UnitedStates.*
Pakistan welcomed the agreement reached between the Chinese President XiJinping and his United States (US) counterpart, Donald Trump, at the 14thG20 summit in Osaka.
During the meeting, Xi and Trump clinched a deal to restart economic andtrade consultations between their countries on the basis of equality andmutual respect. The US side also agreed that it will not add new tariffs onimports from China.
An official of the Pakistan Embassy here, while commenting on theagreement, said it is in line with the best expectations of internationalpublic opinion.
