Saudi Arabia launches Road to Makkah Project in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia is to begin a pilot project from Islamabad Airporttomorrow under the Road to Makkah programme to facilitate Pakistanipilgrims.

A spokesman of the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that a fifty-onemember Saudi Immigration Team is arriving in Islamabad today for thispurpose.

He said the team will visit the Islamabad Airport soon after its arrivaland instal the required system there.

It said that intending Hujjaj will be providedpassport, ticket, locket and stickers before Hajj flight. The Ministry saidRoad to Makkah project will be started from Islamabad for Hajj. It said a51-member Saudi Immigration delegation will arrive in Islamabad today andvisit the Airport to install the system. It said that the Saudi immigrationstaff will complete the immigration process at Islamabad airport.
