*ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Political Affairs,Naeemul Haque, confirmed that 15 provincial legislators of the majoropposition party, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), have met PM ImranKhan at his Bani Gala residence.*
Naeemul Haque in his Twitter message termed the major development as theemerging differences between the provincial legislators and PML-N topleadership.
“The meeting lasted for 1.5 hours at Bani Gala,” said Naeemul Haque. Hehinted that the Bani Gala meeting was held as “CM Punjab had brought them[PML-N MPAs] over.”
Haque said that the PML-N’s provincial legislators expressed their fullconfidence in PM Imran Khan and the Punjab chief minister Sardar UsmanBuzdar.
“The hopes of PMLN MPAs from Punjab continue to get shattered with theirparty as was obvious in their today’s meeting with the PM,” he tweeted.
Earlier it was revealed that a group of disgruntled Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz lawmakers from Punjab Assembly met Prime Minister Imran Khanat Bani Gala.
The meeting of PML-N lawmakers with PM Imran has confirmed the reports offorward bloc and grouping within the party, it has learnt.
The lawmakers are reportedly not happy over the attitude of Sharif familyand have expressed confidence in the leadership of PM Imran and PunjabChief Minister Usman Buzdar.
The MPAs who met the premier belongs to different districts of the Punjabprovince, the report said.
