ISLAMABAD – *Overseas Pakistanis get a good news from State Bank ofPakistan, media has reported. *
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has allowed the expatriates to continueoperating their bank accounts in the country without biometric verificationafter proving their identity as Overseas Pakistanis in their local banks.
This was revealed by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on OverseasPakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Abbas Bukhari in atweet on Thursday.
He expressed hope that the step would facilitate Pakistani diaspora livingacross the globe.
