Chief of Defence Staff UK Gen Sir Nick Carter received COAS Qamar Bajwa onhis arrival at the Ministry of Defence.
They held a session of the delegation level strategic dialogue to discussgeo-strategic environment and bilateral military cooperation.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)Director General (DG) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, the COAS addressed a seminar on“Pakistan’s Regional Security Perspective” at the International Institutefor Strategic Studies (IISS), in London.

COAS said that this can be complemented through meaningful internationalpartnership, support and will to take on regional challenges.
He said that improved security offers foreign investment in Pakistan, apivot to regional connectivity.
According to ISPR, he said, future of enduring peace and stability in SouthAsia hinges on ability to resolve issues and long pending disputes withinthe region.
