NAB arrests former top bureaucrat from Punjab

*LAHORE – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested formerPunjab DG Sports Usman Anwar for corruption charges.*

According to the NAB, Usman Anwar faces the charge of misappropriatingmillions of rupees in the contracts of Punjab Youth Festival held in 2011and 2012.

He also violated the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PEPRA) rules.
