LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawazresponds over bail rejection of Nawaz Sharif from IHC.Maryam on Thursdayvowed to ‘fight’ for justice for Nawaz Sharif after Islamabad High Court(IHC) rejected supremo’s plea seeking bail on medical grounds.

The political-heir apparent of Nawaz Sharif took to Twitter and stated, “Iwill raise voice against this oppression, will fight and go to the lastlimit. I will surely get justice served to the real representative ofmasses, Nawaz Sharif.”

Maryam said “Remember whenever oppression crosses its limits, it is erased.”

Earlier today, Islamabad High Court (IHC) had rejected former PrimeMinister Nawaz Sharif’s Petition seeking suspension of the sentence in AlAzizia reference case on medical grounds.

After hearing from the counsel of Sharif and National Accountability Bureau(NAB) prosecutor, a two-member bench, comprising Justice Amir Farooq andJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, announced the verdict rejecting NawazSharif’s Petition for bail.

During today’s hearing, former premier’s defence counsel Khawaja HarisAhmed informed the court that Nawaz Sharif is seeking suspension ofsentence followed by release on medical grounds.
